One of the ways in which the State tangibly invests in the current and future human capital needs of the country is through the provision of scholarships to qualified citizens.

GHRS is dedicated to creating and implementing strategies that systematically and effectively address the human resource needs of Trinidad and Tobago.

Therefore, in line with its mandate, another of GHRS‘ core services designed to develop a sustainable support structure and system that will enhance the human resource capacity of the Public Service is Scholar Management.

GHRS will partner with the Scholarship and Advanced Training Division of the Ministry of Public Administration and Information to enhance the scholarship administration process, making it a clear, end-to-end management process, guaranteed to be of great benefit, both to the scholars and to the State.

In an effort to fulfill its needs, Trinidad and Tobago is taking steps towards tapping into and developing its human resource potential, in a holistic and sustainable manner. GHRS is well poised to play a key role in this by managing government scholars, a process that will be heavily facilitated by technology.
