Scholarships

As part of the outworking of GHRS‘ desire to develop the human capital within Trinidad & Tobago, thus contributing to the achievement of Vision 20/20, we continuously seek to provide you with the best resources.  Scholarships that are available through the Government of Trinidad and Tobago is one such key resource area.  We have therefore provided a listing of these scholarships on our site to assist in providing greater visibility of the opportunities available to you.

Some of these scholarships are funded by international organisations or foreign governments, while others are offered directly by the Government of Trinidad and Tobago. Please note that all scholarships are coordinated through the Scholarships and Advanced Training Division (SATD) of the Ministry of Public Administration and Information, not GHRS. Please note that the month indicated (‘Due to be advertised‘) for the formal advertisement and release of further information on any given scholarship may not be the actual release date - it may in fact be earlier or later. Please be sure that you check the contact details below, in order to stay current about the release of any scholarship in which you are interested.

How to Apply

All applicants must fill out an SATD application form, which can be obtained from the SATD at the address below.  On the island of Tobago, the SATD application forms may be collected from the Public Administration Division or Central Administrative Services, Tobago at the locations listed below.  If you wish to apply for a scholarship offered by an international organization or foreign government, you must also fill out an application form for that particular scholarship.  The SATD application form lists a number of supporting documents that must be included with the application.  Different scholarships have different deadlines for applications — please see the information below.

Applicants who are short-listed will be called before a select committee to be interviewed.
